How to apply to work with clients
Step 1
In order to apply to work with a client, you should first select a client from your Eligible Client list. You are eligible to apply to any client with an “Invited” status.
Step 2
By clicking on this client, you are brought to the client profile page where you can view information about this client and their availability.
On the left side of the screen you will see basic client information, such as name, age and gender.
Step 3
Below that, you can see information about client behavior. You can click on CLIENT INTAKE FORM to see a detailed questionnaire filled out by the guardian, including information about if the child exhibits specific self-injurious or aggressive behavior.
Step 4
Below this is an indication of the child’s functional impairment for certain categories. Included at the bottom is the estimated hours of direct therapy we expect the child to receive, based on the information provided during the guardian during intake. This is only an estimation and does not replace the assessment that a behavior analyst will conduct with this client.
Step 5
In the middle of the screen, you will find information about the client location and schedule.
Teambuilder calculates commute time by public transit and driving time, based on the location you provided during intake. This information is provided by Google Maps and should be used as guidance. If this is not correct, please edit your address using the EDIT LOCATION link.
Note: For privacy reasons, the client location indicated on the map is within 300 feet of the actual client location. The exact address of the client will be given to you if once are approved to work with them.
Step 6
Below the client location is their availability. Based on your working hours, Teambuilder automatically calculates the potential hours of therapy you can work with a client. If a client is available at a certain time, but you are not available, we will indicate the reason to you here.
To propose a therapy schedule with a client, please click on a day of the week where availability is free (i.e. Wednesday or Friday in the example above). This will trigger a pop-up where you can select the exact hours you would like to work with the client.
Note: You are more likely to have your application approved the more hours you can work with a client.
Once hours are selected, they are added to the right of the screen in the SELECTED HOURS section.
Once you’ve built your proposed schedule, submit your application by clicking the Propose Schedule button.
Conclusion
A final pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your application.
Lastly, if you do not want to work with a client, please click the DECLINE button located at the bottom of this section.
